Trama High School Musical 2 :
E' arrivata l' estate ed i giovani artisti della scuola East High si preparano per andare in vacanza.
Ma i ragazzi non sanno proprio stare con le mani in mano, e si danno da fare per cercare dei labvoretti estivi.
Gabriella trova un lavoro come bagnina, Chad, Taylor e Kelsi si impegnano nel cercare di fare icamerieri, mentre Zeke, Martha, Jason come lavorano come cuochi.
Il mitico Troy Bolton cerca e trova trova un lavoro al Country Club Lava Springs, in seguito gli viene proposto ( e lui accetta) di fare l'insegnante di golf. In realtà quello del golf è un piano di Sharpay per allontanarlo da Gabriella. Nel frattempo, insieme a Gabriella prepara una canzone e una nuova coreografia per la spettacolo di fine estate.
Sharpay riesce a tenere per tutta l'estate Troy lontano da Gabriella, finchè la ragazza fa ritorno a casa lasciando il ragazzo in lacrime.

Troy quando si accorge del piano di Sharpay le comunica di non volere più cantare con lei e la lascia nella disperazione. Troy fa pace con i suoi amici che lo aiutano a far pace con Gabriella, i ragazzi insieme per l'ultima dell'estate cantano innamorati Everyday davanti a tutto il pubblico. Finisce con Troy e Gabriella che si lanciano in un appassionato bacio nel campo da golf.
